Outfit Recap: Red Gingham & Olive

Pinterest made me do it!

Since it is time for some Spring cleaning and my style is constantly evolving with every roll I lose from working out. *wink* I decided a great way to clean out my closet was to style items I neglect and find inspiration. So I went to pinterest. I created an album with celebrities whose style I love. Next, I created a style to mimic album. Let's be honest we could also use a little inspiration. Thrifting has allowed me to purchase quite a few pieces and I wanted to get creative.

I spotted this pictured on Pinterest and knew I had to duplicate it. The below picture is from a blogger called Alterations Needed .

I spotted this shirt while browsing the racks at Goodwill Socal. You can read about that trip here. I paired it with some Target pumps that I recently purchased for  50% off. When I put the outfit together I felt like I had stolen someone's picnic table. Then, I wondered did the green & red combo match? Was I doing too much? I rocked it anyway. I ended up loving the outfit and receiving a lot of compliments.

Here is the breakdown:
Shirt: Brand | $6.99 |Similar found here
Pants: Ross| $10.99 |Similar found here
Shoes: Target| $25 |Same found here
